About the Role:
Leading a roads design team, you will ensure that projects are delivered within the timescales, quality and costs agreed with the client. You will build excellent working relationships with clients and supply chain partners and deliver roads design engineering solutions. You will monitor project finances on an on-going basis as well as assisting in forward financial and operational planning of project and programmes. A key aspect of the role is the mentoring and development of staff through assigning challenging tasks and providing support and coaching as required.
About You:
A Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with extensive roads design experience, you will have a track record in the successful delivery of major roads schemes from feasibility through to construction. You will also have comprehensive knowledge of the DMRB and Statutory procedures as well as the current forms of contract and scheme procurement. Project management and team management skills are essential as are client relationship management skills to enable you to contribute to the development of the business.
