About the Role
You'll work as part of the team that delivers capital building projects primarily for Oxfordshire County Council within the education and commercial sector. You will have responsibility for the financial management, cost planning, procurement and final account of projects on an ongoing development programme. It will also mean negotiating with partnering contractors within an established framework, as well as advising project teams on conditions of contract, whole life costing and cost and carbon management.
About You
My client is looking for someone with experience of standard forms of building contracts, as well as knowledge of measurement, negotiation, tender preparation, and cost planning and reporting. A sound communicator, you'll excel at writing reports and building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders. In addition, you'll either be educated to degree level, or you'll have an HND with equivalent experience.
