Senior Cost Manager – Network Rail
My client is an international Cost Consultancy and Project Management firm who are one of the fastest growing consultancies in the world. They offer their clients world class performance across a diverse range of sectors. They offer services including cost management, risk management, value management and project management for some of the largest and most complex construction projects across the globe.
To match their huge expansion plans my client are looking to fill the following poison:
Responsibilities:
• To act as Commercial Buyer / Cost Manager for Railtrack
• To contribute to the commercial management and procurement of large rail projects
• To gain the confidence of the client Railtrack and become the focal point for communication. Representing the company in a professional and diligent manor. Meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients and their design teams and forming strong working relationships in true partnership.
• Working closely with directors responsible for all aspects of pre and post contract activities

Requirements
• Experience of procurement
• Extensive experience of Cost Consulting / Quantity Surveying
• Ideally chartered
• Independent, strong, flexible individual with a methodical approach
• Enjoys the challenge of satisfying client needs and aspires to success
