About the Role
It will be your responsibility to see that building design and maintenance solutions are delivered effectively and to ensure budgets, programme targets and customer expectations are met. You will adopt a commercial approach to all your activities, most visibly project management, reporting and fee generation. It is an exciting and varied role that will also see you striving to develop strong working relationships with clients, as well as advising clients on statutory compliance and best-industry practice.
About You
Alongside a construction-industry background, you will offer knowledge of building contracts and building related legislation. You will also have some experience of working in a building design, management or maintenance capacity and be a Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS or CIOB) or a graduate working towards RICS APC. Good communication skills are vital – whether demonstrated in written format or on a 'face-to-face' basis.
