SALES ENGINEER/ TRAINEE SALES ENGINEER
25K + 4-8 K OTE + 8% PENSION + LIFE ASSURANCE
THE COMPANY
As a world leader in the manufacture of power transmission products this business continues to achieve strong organic growth in the UK. Having developed a strong portfolio of accounts in Offshore, Special Purpose Machinery, Renewable Energy and many other sectors, the business is looking for a another sales engineer to strengthen the technical sales team.
THE ROLE
As a sales engineer you will be office based in West Yorkshire. You will initially spend time dealing with incoming enquiries to build up your customer and product knowledge. As you develop in the role you will then be tasked with researching new markets, doing email and postal mail shots to develop the brand in the UK. Having followed this up with a phone call and generated customer interest, you will begin to visit OEM's and End Users with one of the existing sales team. As your skills and confidence grow you will be goal managed to become a fully fledged sales engineer within a 1-2 year period.
THE CANDIDATE
Currently our client is only accepting candidates who have the following
" A British passport
" A mechanical engineering qualification or hands on experience
" Sales experience is preferred, but engineers with confidence and strong communication skills will be considered as full training is provided.
