The role is to provide architectural project support role. Working under your own initiative the candidate will be responsible for the production of drawings and other detailed construction documentations under the direction of the project architect. This role will require a significant amount of site based work for extended durations.
The successful candidate will have previous professional experience in complex projects. Good strong knowledge with broad experience in design, and construction of buildings.You will be hands on, technically minded, being able to draw detailed designs The post holder must have working knowledge of current legislation and practices.
You will have experience and knowledge of industry CAD platforms with particular emphasis on AutoCAD Architecture / ADT and IT Systems. Experience of computer presentation techniques such as Sketch Up / 3D AutoCAD / photoshop etc would be an advantage. You will also have a good working knowledge of building construction, expressed through drawn / written documents.
This is a large project which will go on for at least 12 month, more likley 18 months and so the client would like the successful applicant to have a stable cv and a track record of seeing projects through to completion.
