The company are an independent consultancy and accredited High Voltage Laboratory established for over 20 years, providing consulting services to Blue chip utilities and Power generation developers. Experiencing extensive growth and investment from leading technology providers.
The Role
As Power Systems Engineer, HV Test Engineer you will be responsible for planning high tech tests, understanding what is required to carry out the test, and then run it from set up to completion. The role will also involve writing up all relevant reports and documentation following the tests and presenting to the customer. (All HV Equipment associated with Substations, OHL - Instrument transformers, Insulators, Transformers, Switchgears, Circuit breakers.)
The Person
You will need;
Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering (BEng Electrical Engineering 2:1 or 2:2)
Experience of HV Test, working with HV Equipment.
Ideally a knowledge of measuring technology, Electrical Circuits, Design,
Commissioning or Research and Development
A knowledge of the Swedish language is highly desirable, although a genuine
willingness to learn will be acceptable.
