Marine superintendent (Nautical) / Singapore
My client is a leading owner and operator of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Vessels, providing the full range of advisory and innovative services to deliver cutting-edge maintenance projects.
Further to ongoing development, my Client is seeking an experienced person to provide technical and maintenance support to offshore facilities in terms of Class and Flag state requirements, loading and offloading related activities, dry dock, under water inspections and tank inspections including UT gauging reports review.
The chosen applicant will have to ensure that offshore facilities are maintained with respect to Class/ Statutory and other regulatory requirements.
The main responsibilities:
• Liaise with Operations Managers / Maintenance Managers and OIMs in terms of maintenance and technical support for all installations.
• Carry out audits (mooring, loading, offloading, tank inspections etc) on board facilities as per audit plan.
• Participate in incident investigation.
• Provide technical support to the emergency response team as and when required.
• Visit offshore facilities as and when required at short notice.
• Participate in planned shut downs and tank inspections / surveys.
• Review and provide engineering solutions for Change Management Requests from offshore installations as per company requirement.
• Review the Incident/Shutdown Reports and verify /carry out root cause analysis.
• Update the lesson learned based on Change Management Requests, shut down review, survey / audit reports etc.
• Provide in house training for the offshore team as and when required.
• Liaise with HSEQ for any HSEQ related issues and ISM/ISPS related matters.
• Provide budget requirements in terms of maintenance, long term plan and surveys.
• Competency evaluation for onboard Marine & Safety Superintendents.
• Provide input for New project Bids and variation orders.
• Provide input for improvement of Maintenance Management system.
• Fee agreement with Class Societies
Candidate Requirements:
• Master Mariner or equivalent qualification with experience of 10 years offshore/onshore oil and gas industry.
• 5 years experience onboard FPSOs is desirable.
• Needs to travel to any Production offshore facilities.
• Needs to support the offshore facilities during out side normal working hours.
• Demonstrate leadership and personnel management skills with a thorough knowledge of :
