Salary / Hourly Rate: £28 - £30.00 per hour
Civil/Structural Engineer - £30 p/h, 3 Month Contract

Due to winning several major projects with companies within the power generation and waste recycling industries, this established civil engineering consultancy is experiencing a rapidly increasing workload which looks set to continue over the next few months. With projects already well underway and the business lacking the skill sets required to complete all work, there is an immediate requirement for a civil/structural engineer.

The role will involve:
• Working as part of a large team and taking a technical lead.
• Interfacing with clients design team.
• Co-ordinating with Project Manager and managing packages.
• Taking responsibility for CAD team and junior engineer.
• Working on concept structural design of structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and foundations.

The successful applicant will possess the following key skills:
• Time served as a civil/structural engineer. Chartership would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong conceptual design skills with ability to perform calculations.
• Experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete.
• Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels from a technical perspective.

• £30 p/h Ltd.
