RED deal nationally with leading clients from within the construction, engineering and consulting industries supplying clients both in the UK and overseas. For one of our engineering and construction management clients we have an opportunity for a Lead engineer to work within the water industry. Reporting directly to the project manager with the responsibility of ensuring successful execution and completion of designs for a number of projects, meeting defined timescales, quality standards and commercial objectives. Candidates must be able to fully own, lead and co-ordinate the design of a project (including process, mechanical, electrical, civil and CAD) and to provide design support throughout the project. (i.e feasibility, outline design, detailed design, construction and commissioning). The lead engineer will develop best value solutions which can withstand external challenge. Person specifications: Candidates must be a degree qualified engineer with a minimum 10 years experience in the water industry. Salary and benefits package negotiable dependent upon candidate experience.
