Railway Overhead Line Design Engineer - North West
Salary: £45,000 + Package

An opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading railway contractors to join their design team in the North West. You will be working as part of a multi disciple design team that operates with in the P-way, Signalling, Power, E&P and of course OHL.
Role Description:
You will be working as part of the overhead line design engineering team (OHL) and be responsible for various designs from detailed through to feasibility depending on the project in question. All projects are UK based so you will be working on Network Rail related projects with this being the case being an accredited design will give you an added advantage.
This is a purely office based role but the progression and opportunity is great to move in to a Senior / Principle Designer position or even with in the next couple of year Design manager heading up the OHL team.
Required Experience:
For this role you will hold electrical engineering qualifications (a minimum of an HNC) with prior experience of working on the railway. You must have experience of working on HOL design projects be it in the UK or Worldwide with references to support this.
Attitude is equally important and dynamic forward thinking designer are need to support and grow this team. With a highlight on future team leaders and managers being key to progression isn't given on service length but on the ability shown.
PLEASE NOTE
This role supports people coming back to the UK with relevant experience with either a UK passport or confirmed HSMP.
