LEAD ONSHORE PIPELINE ENGINEER
LOCATION:

Our client designs, engineers and constructs some of the worlds largest energy infrastructure projects, providing a full spectrum of EPC solutions and proven process technologies for petrochemical facilities, oil refineries and gas processing plants.

We have opportunities for Lead and Senior Onshore Pipeline Engineers with Significant relevant offshore pipelines design experience:
Front End Engineering Design (FEED) experience required with particular emphasis on offshore pipeline design including a significant number of the following aspects; routing, wall thickness design, on-bottom stability, free-span assessment, crossing design, upheaval/lateral buckling analysis, reliability based design, installation analysis (S-lay, tow methods), riser design, pipe-in-pipe, bundle design, pipeline protection design, tie-in design, cathodic protection design, installation methods and requirements for HPHT pipelines including OOS.
Sound experience of design and pipeline analysis requirements.
Familiarity with international codes standards and industry guidelines.
Experienced in risk assessments and exposure to QRA an advantage. Installation experience and advantage. Russian and Arctic design experience an advantage. Review of multi-discipline documents relevant to offshore pipelines and their associated onshore sections and above ground installations/tie-ins.
Knowledge of preparation of technical requisitions, technical bid evaluations, data review and co-ordination with vendors. Input to cost estimates and schedule updates.

The Lead Engineer will be a Chartered Engineer/ working towards Chartership
BSc/BEng/HNC or equivalent relevant professional qualification is essential.

Knowledge of MS Office, MathCad, experience with finite element software (e.g. Abaqus, SAGE Profile, Autopipe, Offpipe).
