Salary / Hourly Rate: £35000 - £45000 per annum + benefits
My client is a leading player in the procurement world. They urgently require a database administrator to work out of their Godalming HQ. You will provide technical expertise to ensure that the database management meets the required standards at all times and an effective software support service to the companies users. You will take full responsibility for SQL database maintenance including Structure changes; Script creation; normalisation; cleansing; back-up; archiving and optimisation. You will also be responsible for EDI data management and stability, Creating new reports in Crystal and lead the OLAP use. The role also involves a little first line support to all staff and carrying out software testing of system upgrades. You will need to have experience of SQL database administration, report design, MS SQL server software (2000,2005, 2008) including management tools, Crystal reports and or SQL server reporting tools (SSRS) and or SQL server analysis (SSAS), Office 2007, a comprehensive understanding of MS SQL. You must also have a full clean driving licence
