EnterpriseMouchel is a dynamic, integrated highways management service provider.
This comprises the management of real time network operations in order to maintain traffic flow, the maintenance, design and building of renewal and improvement projects.
Our customers are central, regional and local government and more specifically the Highways Agency, Transport for London and local authorities.
Schemes Engineers (two roles, Croydon)
Job Purpose:
Assist Schemes Project Manager in the day to day operations and management of schemes
Key Accountabilities:
- Produce Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Construction Phase Plan
- Produce works programmes and liaise with contractor to ensure programme dates are met
- Liaise with designers and contractors
- Assist in resolving site/construction issues
- Arrange and chair progress meetings with contractors
- Ensure schemes are built to the design
- Ensure workforce adhere to H & S and Environmental rules
- Inspects TM layout of schemes and address items raised
- Provides H & S folder to contractor and ensure site inductions are done
- Liaison with contractor, stakeholders, client
- Work to an agreed programme
- Do site supervisions and act on finding
- Provide as built information
- Site diaries and records
Typical Skills/Experience
- Ability to multi task and run a multiple of contractors at the same time
- Good organisational/communication skills
- New Roads and Street Works qualification for supervision is needed
- A Full Drivers licence
- Competent It skills
- A good knowledge of Chapter 8 and Traffic management
- CSCS card holder
- Able to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of H & S practices
- First Aid trained
