Established leading private sector company operating in the Construction field requires a Contracts Administrator to analyze, develop contract requirements, special provision, terms and conditions to ensure that the company complies with them.
Primary Responsibilities:
• To make sure that processes related to contracts and tenders are efficient and carried out according to Company policies.
• To consult with other sections to support the overall efficiency of the tendering process.
• To make sure that contracts/ tenders do not run against the interests of the company from a formal point of view and are in line with legal regulations.
• To ensure highest level of quality for contracts and constantly works towards the goal of speeding up cycle time.
• To control and improve on the tender process constantly and ensures that tenders are processed efficiently and according to policies & conditions.
• To monitor the implementation and follow up of contracts/agreements to ensure that Contractors adhere to terms and conditions of agreements.
Secondary Responsibilities:
• To manage, coach and develop direct subordinates to improve their service and to achieve departmental objectives
• To evaluate direct reporting staff’ performance, productivity appraisals and quality of work.
• To ensure internal communication; holding meetings; motivating one-to-one and team building.
• Assists in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
• Negotiate claims occurring in performance of contracts.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
• Working knowledge of FIDIC
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Very good command in both English and Arabic languages.
• Negotiation skills.
