**Senior Laboratory Architect – Australia**


Our client is a multi-disciplinary practice, with a portfolio of leading edge designs. They provide services for a range of industries including Health Care, Research and Laboratory, Institutional and Pharmaceutical sectors. Their specialty is in the design of large scale complex and high technology buildings.
They are currently looking for a Senior Laboratory Architect for their offices in Brisbane and Sydney.

Position Description


• To work within and manage a team in undertaking architectural design for their projects
• Ensure the highest standard of design and documentation is prepared in the most efficient manner to meet required standards of the practice and the client.
• Support others within other project teams by sharing specialist knowledge and experience.
• Work in a multi-disciplined team environment with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Supervise Architectural project staff to ensure project requirements are met.
• Manage and supervise Architectural design solutions and equipment selection and installation.
• Manage on-site work, including construction stage services and site commissioning.
• Contribute to tenders, submissions, EOI’s and other business development requests as required.
• Liaise with clients, establishing needs and taking briefs before commencing work.
• Maintain ongoing liaison with clients during all phases of projects to ensure the client’s needs are understood and met.
• Able to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Liaise with Operations Manager regarding the progress of the work on all significant matters relating to or arising from the duties and functions under your control.
• Lead and influence direct reports to achieve results
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork.
• Work as part of a team and support others

Must have or equivalent of:

Architectural Degree or recognised qualification
Registration with recognised peak body
Significant background in Laboratory projects/ clean rooms.
